Finding the right eyewear for a loved one in a correctional facility can be overwhelming — but we're here to help make it simple and stress-free.
Learn how to order prescription glasses for inmates through our easy ordering process.
📨 Step 1: Request a Free Catalog
We offer a physical catalog that can be sent directly to correctional facilities.
To request one, just fill out the contact form (under FAQ -> Email Us) with the following information:
- Inmate's full name and ID number
- Facility name and full mailing address
- Any known restrictions (for example: "no metal frames allowed")
Once we receive that, we'll mail the catalog directly to the inmate.
🛒 Step 2: How to Place an Order
There are three ways to order glasses for inmates:
Option 1: Inmate Sends Order & Payment
The inmate can use the catalog and send in:
- A completed order form
- Payment from the institution (money order or check)
- Mail it to the address provided in the catalog
Option 2: Inmate Sends Contact Info
If the inmate cannot pay directly, they can:
- Fill out the order form
- Include contact info for a family member or friend
- We'll reach out to the contact to confirm and collect payment
Option 3: Family/Friend Orders Online
Loved ones can also place the order directly on our website:
- Choose the frames and lenses
- At checkout, add the inmate's number after their last name
- Use the facility's address as the shipping address
Please double-check any frame material or lens restrictions with the facility beforehand
Important Notes
We do our best to comply with each facility's guidelines, but it is your responsibility to check with the institution regarding any restrictions on:
- Frame materials (metal vs. plastic)
- Lens types (tinted, transition, etc.)
- Price Limits
- Colors/Patterns
If an order is denied due to restrictions, we are not liable — so it's always best to check first.
